Our public Sunday tours offer the opportunity to rediscover the museum and its collection every week. In Center for Persecuted Arts You can discover works of art, stories and fates from the first half of the last century that were thought lost and barely considered. The art mediators focus on various topics and biographies. The temporary exhibition is currently showing “Change of view. Portraits of Jewish Women Artists in the Age of Extremes” In addition, the diversity of female Jewish artists in the age of extremes.

Do you know Else Lasker-Schüler? She will be known to most as a poet, but she also drew and exhibited in well-known galleries. And what is it about the figure of Yussuf, the artist's second self? The artists we show in our permanent exhibition were often forgotten, were characterized by various forms of persecution, and their opportunities for development and artistic works were blocked, prevented and partly destroyed by the Nazi dictatorship. The literature collection also features female writers and poets such as Mascha Kaléko and Claire Goll. Join us in search of clues!

It is not necessary to book in advance for public tours. The tours start at 15:00 in the museum foyer near the ticket office. The guided tour is already included in the museum entrance fee.
